1. It seems the government shut down is about to come to a close. Have you kept up with what is happening? Explain as best you can what you know about the past 11 days, tell me what has happened as the President and the Congress have been working through their difficulties. Maybe you have heard your parents talking about it, or maybe even in social studies class you have discussed it. Tell me what you know.
I don't know very much about what is going with the government right now. I know the government is shut down because they are having major disagreements about budgeting. It is a major problem because America has a lot of debt.
