1. What effects are the current drought directly having on your life? Do you notice the effects and if so where and how do you see them?
My family owns on Lake Travis. The drought has caused Lake Travis levels to go down dramaticlly and because of the drought there are no longer any ramps to put your boat in on Lake Travis. You have to go to Pace Bend. Because the levels are so down we had to take our boat out of the water and put it in dry storage. Unfortunately we were not able to boat at all this summer.

2. What do you think authorities should do to try and help this region of the country battle the worsening drought?
I think the authorities should have worse consequences for those who do not abide by the restrictions. Also i think they should have stricter restrictions. Thats about all they can do because water is needed by every living organism. Moving it from the wrong place can throw off that whole ecosystem.
