World War ll Veterans Questions

1. When you read the headline, were you at all interested in the story?
Yes i was interested in the story.
2. After you completed the story, what were two things you learned about that you did not know before
I learned that 6,000 soldiers died at Iwo Jima and also that 1,800 died the first day at Iwo Jima.
3. Was the story better than you expected after reading the headline?
Yes it was much better.

third person
5. Did the chronological format help the story in your opinion?
Yes it helped to understand the story better.

it uses a theme of the their in the night to tie the story together.

the quotes added the personal experiences of the veterans and what it was like to fight in the war.

It does not have the strict quote transition formula it also contains a lot of feelings and emotions.
